Awesome simple metronome

It’s free and does exactly what I needed.

You can enter the tempo as a number, or there’s a tap tempo function. It has volume and pan controls, and you can choose from a handful of different percussion sounds, which I think are useful if you are going to be playing along with a drummer.

It also has a feature that will increase the tempo after a certain number of beats so that you can automatically work at increasing tempos over time.
